CYTOLOGY All ladies between 20 and 60 should have regular smears, preferably every three years. The call and recall system is now managed at Ayrshire Central Hospital, but patients should still attend the surgery for their smear test. This is a simple procedure performed by either Sister Cooper or Nurse Lydon. |
